2010 Looks A Lot Like 2010

While at a conference in India several months ago, editors of the Bangkok Post compiled a list of what they saw as "hot buttons for supply chain management in our current environment." Last week, they pulled it out, gave it another look, and were surprised to find that it was still relevant. Just as we did several months ago, as we head into 2010, we'll be focused on responding to changing and cancelled demand, inventory optimization, short-term actions, reversing globalized outsourcing, keeping an eye on suppliers, consolidating procurement, getting more out of IT, managing risk, going green, and SOP.
